I can confirm this because I traveled to the museum with him, and also visited the collections this day. I distinctly remember talking to Dr. Lucas, and particularly his comment that Bill should re-name "Desmatosuchus" chamaensis after Andy Heckert. Dr. Lucas explicitly allowed us to photograph the material and even told us that we could remove the ammonium chloride coating the specimens if necessary (ammonium chloride is commonly used to provide a uniform color for specimens in black and white photos - you can see that the specimens were coated with this substance in the original publication of the material by Zeigler et al. 2002).
