We want the Alvis system to survive as a living project beyond this three-year contract.
To achieve this we need to make a system that is easy for new developers to build peers for, and easy for new content providers to join up to.
So our approach must allow autonomous, diverse peers in a robust, adaptive, efficient network that is easy to join and requires no ongoing maintenance.
